DSS4 RACE READY STEEL - Frame set from £1795/Complete from £4380

You remember that scene from Days of Thunder where Harry’s building Cole’s race car? Well that’s what its like every time we build one of these! The DSS4 uses the most advanced steel tubing, the worlds finest frame finishing components and the excellent Columbus Futura fork. Building into an extremely capable steel race machine, ready to thrash it out at the pointy end of any race.

The bike has been race tested under the legs of Kibosh Racing through the 2017 season, grabbing wins and podiums, with team members wowing spectators with the bikes incredible handling. Here’s what Josh Greet, Kibosh Racing Chief had to say about his own DSS4 machine:

“I am cornering twice as fast as I used to with the bike giving me a shit tonne of confidence. It feels so planted at all times. No skipping rear end whilst sprinting, just going forward very quickly.”

I think “twice as fast” may be a slight exaggeration, but you get where he’s going!

The frame is based around the incredible Columbus HSS tube set, Columbus’s ultra modern, hydro formed, oversized tubing. It builds into a stiff, direct frame, but never loses that steel feel and the confidence that brings. Something that will gain you many more seconds than simply counting grams.

Featuring an oversized opposed oval down tube, a heavily ovalized top tube and beautifully smoothed in wide set seat stays, putting stiffness where it’s needed. It makes an ultra modern frame, all with that feel of a finely tuned steel machine.

Chemically treated internally and finished with silver brazed, stainless steel braze on’s and bosses, including dead ended bottle bosses. These hidden details make sure your frame is ready to go season after season…

Available in both calliper and disc braked versions.

Calliper Frame Set – £1795 (frame, fork, headset)

Disc Frame Set – £1925 (frame, fork, headset, skewers)

We love paint and for the DSS bikes you have several options. If you like it simple you can choose from any of our base colours for a single colour with logo’s design. Like badass? Then we offer the ‘TL Black Top’ grey and black scheme (pictured below) as featured on all our prototype builds as a no fee upgrade. Or of course one of the most fun parts of the DSS bikes for us is coming up with a Signature paint job for it.

In this case the Kibosh racing colours, the design taking inspiration from none other than James Hunt’s Marlboro Mclaren. Now we can’t offer this to non team members, but work with us on another golden era motor racing inspired theme!

Let us know you favourite team and era from the golden days of motor racing and we’ll cook you up something to add few more mph to your ride!
