At home on the tarmac, but built with detours off the beaten path in mind, the DSS2 will adapt to road, gravel or loaded touring – so all you have to do is choose the adventure.
Taking up to 35c tyres and benefitting from a relaxed road geometry that’s optimal for long rides and gravel riding, the DSS2 is a go to road bike with the potential for a lot more. It rewards you on a Sunday ride, eats up commuting miles, smoothes out the gravel and then of course there are rack mounts should you want to add panniers for a weekend getaway or long-distance bike packing trip. Versatile and adaptable.
The DSS2 is all about rewarding your effort, whether you’re out on a Sunday club run, exploring your local bridleways or tackling a sunny alpine ascent – it’ll be right there, smoothing out the road and digging deep with you.

Tubing is Reynolds 853; Reynolds’ highest quality, highest strength seamless air-hardening steel, which we’ve coupled with the Wound Up Gravel fork. Wound Up forks are tried and tested and are held by many as the best riding fork on the market. You can think of a Wound Up fork in the same way you would a steel fork – designed to last a lifetime, so you can ride it with total confidence. Featuring filament wound carbon fibre construction it offers incredible stability, vibration dampening and torsional stiffness while still maintaining a low weight.
We offer the bike with the excellent Shimano Ultegra group set which we’ve hooked up to TRP Spire SLC cable operated brake callipers. With the DSS2 designed for more “off the beaten track” riding, our belief in running cable operated brakes comes down to their ability to be fixed more easily in the field. However we do offer a hydro option for those who need not be concerned with this.
Finished with stainless hardware including dead ended bottle bosses and brass barrel adjusters.

Complete bikes come with rider-tuned crank length, bar width, stem length and gear ratios. CAD drawing is supplied (if customer fit details are available) to ensure optimum component choice.
Please note bike pictured features a custom build package. Mudguards are an optional extra.
We offer 3 “stock” sizes, sml, med and lrg alongside our custom size program. The stock sizes tend to cover most bases. If you have fit details already then you can send these through to us and we can see which would be the most suitable. If you’re not fitting on one of the below sizes or you want that stance just so, custom is the way to go…

AND FINALLY... COLOUR!
We love paint and for the DSS bikes you have several options. If you like it simple you can choose from any of our base colours for a single colour design with logo’s. Or of course one of the most fun parts of the DSS bikes for us is coming up with a Signature paint job for it. The DSS2 gets the Good Vibes stripes. We worked with the talented print designer Suzanne Antonelli for the DSS2 paint design and it comes in two options: Good Vibes or Bad Vibes! (Bad Vibes below).
