Brooks England x Donhou Utility at VIA

We partnered with Brooks England on a special edition Utility to showcase the newest saddle in their Cambium range, the C67. With the bike currently being displayed in the Brooks England space at the excellent VIA, located at Kings Cross (the bike will be there until Jan '23).

We built up a very capable Utility, demonstrating the adaptability of the Utility platform. This one we call a country commuter and it can chew up tow paths, disused railway lines, bridle ways, fire roads and filthy country lanes, all before breakfast!

We opted for our flat bar option, as it gives a little more out of the saddle control for when things get a little tougher. We kept things functional with a ten speed set up and made sure we had comfortable and controllable braking thanks to Hope Tech4 X2 hydraulic disc brakes. We also went with the Hope Fortus 23 wheel set, with the Pro 4 hubs giving a long service life, dealing happily with everything a dirty commute can throw at them.

We topped it off with Goodyear Connector 50c tyres, giving plenty of control in unfavourable conditions, wrapping them in colour coded fenders, so no one is even going to know the fun you had when you smugly arrive clean and fresh at your destination!
