Here’s Becky’s new 650c track bike. We’re both really pleased with this one and had it on display at the Vulpine Fete back in December, where I handed it over to a very happy Becky and it had lots of admirers.
The key to getting a 650c bike to look right is all down to careful consideration of proportion and scale. Built from standard size Reynolds 631 tubing with 931 stainless chain stays and running 1 inch ahead with a custom bull horn bar/stem combo I think we nailed it.
Finished in flat grey with the gloss seat stays and mirror polished chain stay this bike looks awesome. Once Becky puts her front brake on with the yellow brake pads it will complete her CMYK concept. Yes, Becky is a designer and illustrator, a very talented one too and has some really cool cycling related illustrations, make sure you check them out here.
Many happy miles Becky…
